Data Centre and Solutions Sales Person – Data Centre Speciality : Business Development

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of the Data Centre business
  • Liaise with the rest of the sales team and technical team for all data centre issues
  • Aggressively pushing for new business 
  • Working closely with the COO and General Manager keeping them informed and up to date on the data centre business.
  • Having a key understanding of the data centre business and industry, with the ability to be able to create key presentational style pitches 
  • Be responsible for creating and holding key relationships with the  decision makers in Uganda
  • Apart from the data centre side of the business the employee will also be responsible for the software solutions business the company is looking to expand into
  • Growing the solutions business using existing client base while also targeting new clients
  • managing your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals;

Skills / Attributes Required:

  • Able to work successfully and productively in a team environment or independently and deal with multi-tasks effectively
  • Excellent in written and spoken English
  • Results oriented with strong drive to succeed
  • Good understanding of the Data Centre business
  • Proven analytical, planning, and organizing skills;

Additional:

  • Successful candidate will be based out of Uganda.
